We all know how to get on the internet and even search to find what we are looking for, however does anyone every really think about the tools or applications that make this possible? One might ask so what exactly is a web browser
Well About.com says: “Surfing the web is made possible by Web browsers. Browsers are basically software programs that allow you to search for and view various kinds of information on the Web, such as web sites, video, audio, etc.”
Wikipedia.com states: “A web browser is a software application for retrieving, presenting, and traversing information resources on the World Wide Web. An information resource is identified by a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) and may be a web page, image, video, or other piece of content. Hyperlinks present in resources enable users to easily navigate their browsers to related resources.”

The definitions seem to be similar,the lingo consistent, but does this mean that all web browser’s are created equal?
