Whether it was through word-of-mouth advertising, or by requesting your services, they are the reason you are at this point in your real estate career. So, what’s the best way to show gratitude towards them? The answer is simple: through your actions – with a personalized approach.
What do you do after a transaction has been completed? Some REALTORS® send Thank You cards, gift baskets or even a housewarming gift. The gift doesn’t have to be expensive, just thoughtful. For example: if you know your clients are wine drinkers, get them some wine glasses, or how about a welcome mat for their home? Or, a first aid kit for the first-time home buyers? After all it’s the thought that counts!
Your connection with them doesn’t have to end here – if you are holding an event, or a fundraiser a few months down the road, invite them along. It shows you still remember them and will keep you in the back of their minds – so the next time a friend or someone they know is looking for a real estate agent, your name will come up. The best attitude is gratitude, for if it wasn’t for your clients, you would never be successful. If your list of clientele is smaller, then send them a personalized note on special holidays. Go the extra mile and remember a birthday or anniversary here and there. Get to know your clients during the home buying or home selling process, after all, you will spend a lot of time with them.
