When Redman Tech decided to relocate to Downtown Edmonton in the Spring of 2013, we knew we were doing something right.
This move allows us to continue to offer website services to Canadian real estate agents from a more centralized location. I guess you could say we’re very proud to have our headquarters in Alberta.
Truth be told, it’s an exciting time to be a business in this province. It’s full of opportunities, positive changes, and possibilities for growth! On top of that, its two major cities (Edmonton and Calgary) have amazing leaders!
I like to think of Mayor Naheed Nenshi and Mayor Don Iveson as the Batman and Superman of municipal politics in Alberta. And after reading this article by the Huffington Post, I can see I’m not alone in that thought.
Come to think of it…Redman Technologies has a lot in common with both superheroes- I mean, Mayors:

Pretty much awesome. Mayor Naheed Nenshi’s 2010 campaign for mayor was nicknamed “The Purple Revolution” for it’s ingenious use of Social Media platforms. Mayor Don Iveson has also taken Social Media by storm using Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, and even Memes. This Halloween he also dressed up as a zombie! Needless to say, they’re both pretty much awesome.
A little bit geeky. Let’s face it, an interest in Star Wars and Star Trek makes you a little bit geeky. So we love that Mayor Don Iveson fits into this category with his Trekkie Tweets. While not all of my fellow Redmaners like Star Wars and Star Trek they do however: design and code drop-dead gorgeous websites, attend the tech and startup community events in Edmonton, and volunteer at local radio shows (checkout Colin’s Long John Index and Rachelle’s Science For The People). Geeky level obtained!

A soft-spot for pets. It should come as no surprise that Redman is 100% pet-friendly. Whether it’s our resident dog Koszu, or visiting cats Raj and Symon- we just can’t get enough of our furry friends! A slow clap to Mayor Naheed Nenshi for this cheeky Tweet and his participation in the Calgary Pet Pageant. Mayor Don Iveson also likes pets! Throughout his campaign for mayor he posted pictures of dogs sitting in front of a Don Iveson For Mayor sign…too cute!
There’s a lot of great things in store for Alberta and we couldn’t be happier to be able to witness these changes. Our new headquarters is located on Edmonton’s Capital Boulevard (10172 108th Street). We’re open Monday to Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM. If you haven’t done so already, stop by and say hello!
