- Determine what is causing your fear. Have an honest conversation with your subconscious and figure out what is holding you back. Is it a financial setback or is it lack of resources? Are you afraid of losing your freedom or do you have a fear of failing?
- Create a mantra. Make a promise to yourself and turn it into a mantra. If you’re afraid of losing your freedom by taking on more responsibilities your mantra could be something like, “I won’t take on more than I can handle” or if you don’t want to be more involved with your kids it could be, “family comes first.” Whatever the mantra, make it your own and say it to yourself often.
