In the last few months, Redman has begun rolling out an exciting new update to one of the most important and fundamental pages of your real estate website: the Listing Details page.
Almost every visitor of your website will eventually find themselves looking at at least one – but usually dozens – Listing Details page. These are the pages that contain all the available MLS® System information about a particular property, and the way this information is presented online is important.
This winter, we’ve given the Listing Details page a complete makeover. The two column layout takes full advantage of modern design standards that embrace larger monitors and screen sizes. This arrangement also lets us prioritize the most important information near the top of the page, including listing photos, descriptions, price, location maps, and key property stats like square footage and number of rooms.
We’ve payed special attention to make sure these new pages and their URLs are search engine optimized and social media-friendly. These pages have been optimized to rank higher in searches for specific addresses and MLS® numbers. The share links near the top of the page make it easy for your clients to share their favourites with friends and family on sites like Twitter and Facebook.
Our built-in contact form is more streamlined, and the subject drop down encourages leads to get specific about why they’re contacting you: do they want more information about the property, or are they interested in a showing?
And when it comes to your own listings, we’ve also made sure any automated listing videos are included in the sidebar to make sure your visitors have access to the full multi-media experience your website offers when it comes to listings.
The coolest thing about our new listing details page is how customizable it is. The colours, fonts, and icons are all flexible, which makes it easy for us to go in and make buttons, headers and other visual elements consistent with your website’s look and feel.

Currently the new Listing Details Page is available to Advantage clients in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Victoria boards. Compatibility with other Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan boards will be available in coming weeks.
